St. Xavier's College is one of Nepal's premier learning institutions, which was established as a high school in 1988, but now also offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in business, social science, humanities, and information management. It was founded as a higher secondary school (encompassing grades 11 and 12) in the heart of Kathmandu valley by the Society of Jesus with the aim of cultivating future leaders in Nepal. Its motto is "Excellence through leadership, training, and service." The school was inaugurated by Late King Birendra of Nepal and is supervised by Jesuits.
